2025 Year in Review

In February, we braved the cold to check out Red Bull Heavy Metal snowboarding at the state capitol in St. Paul.

At the Strait Design shop, we got our new color printer and laminator delivered and set up...which means an expanded line of cut/print/laminated sticker sheets, banners, and club slaps.

In March, we went to Madison, WI for spring break and hit the skatepark...yes, it was cold.

In April (...still cold), we drove up to Brainerd to check out the Spring Drift opener at BIR.

And the next day we drove to USAir in Wisconsin for the ClubFR drift opener!

May - finally getting warmer - had more days of skateboarding, including lessons for the boys at Anthem, and Montana kicking off another season instructing at DCTC with the Gary Curtis Driving Experience.

Summer in full swing, we added more skateparks to the mix, including an impulsive 4th of July road-trip to Lauridsen Skatepark in Des Moines. Scorching hot that day and our car did not have AC. (Honestly, 4 out of our 5 cars did not have AC...but it was melt-to-the-seat hot that day!)

They hosted test-n-tune days and drift competitions. Montana drove a ton in the Miata, as well as, instructed at their drift school and was even a judge at one of their drift competitions.

In August, the 240 started to get worked on heavily and we continued to skateboard all around town.

October closed out the season with Club FR drifting at Road America. The track is top-notch and it was amazing to be there!

Last, but not least - after a lot of shop time, we brought home a running driving 240 before the snow hit. It was our major car project of 2025 and we can't wait to drive it in the 2026 season!

240 back home!
